The Bachelor of Physiotherapy at DIT University delves deeply into the science of human movement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Our comprehensive curriculum not only covers the essential theoretical domains such as anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, and pathology but also offers immersive hands-on training. The program equips students with the expertise needed to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. By learning to design personalized rehabilitation plans, our students will help patients to restore physical function, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Our students receive practical training advanced techniques such as electrotherapy, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, shockwave therapy, and many more. Additionally, the program incorporates occupational therapy and speech therapy, providing students with a broad skill set to address diverse patient needs.
The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical experience. Students are trained in optical sciences, contact lenses, visual optics, ocular diseases, binocular vision, and low vision care. The mandatory one-year internship ensures that students receive practical training in real-world settings especially in eye hospitals, allowing them to apply their skills in diagnosing and managing various vision and eye health conditions.
Students are trained to manage a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgeries and specialized fields such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery. Additionally, students learn emergency room techniques, pre-operative and post-operative patient care, and the handling of anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments, ensuring they are well-rounded professionals upon graduation.

Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany+Zoology) subjects.
Admission on the basis of merit of Senior Secondary (10+2).
Candidate has attained the age of 17 years as on 31-December of the year of admission.
Medical fitness certificate is mandatory to submit and it is to be endorsed by Govt. Medical Officer.
