Chemistry is sometimes referred to as the central Science since it integrates the domains of Physics, Mathematics, Biology Medicine, and environmental sciences.

Chemistry is taught at DIT University through degree-level courses for both Undergraduate and graduate students. Students are given a thorough understanding of the importance of Chemistry in their daily lives.

The Department of Chemistry offers two undergraduate programs in Chemistry, namely, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Chemistry – a three-year program, and B.Sc. (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) with Research – a four-year program.

Passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/biology as mandatory subjects.
Secured pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Math/Biology and should have proficiency in english language.
