B.Sc. Biotechnology is one of the most important topics in modern scientific research since it involves using Biology and various ways to modify things so that they can be used for human purposes. This three-year undergraduate programme helps students understand the DNA of many living species in depth. The course combines two big disciplines: Biology and Technology. Biotechnology is a branch of applied Biology that uses living creatures or Biological systems to make Technical advancements and apply them to various disciplines.

This course is offered by DBUU's Department of Biotechnology, one of the best biotechnology college in Dehradun and the main goal of this program is to prepare qualified professionals in the domain who can continuously work towards increasing human life quality and the health of the earth B.Sc. Biotech covers a broad range of subjects such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Chemistry. The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with (PCB/CBZ) from a recognized board or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
