The M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is intended to nurture students for more profoundly productive careers in academics and industry. Under the programme, the students are exposed to a wide range of core and elective courses with in-depth synopsis, blended with specific research and practical exposure. Therefore, under the course, apart from the underlying theory related to Databases, Algorithms, Data Mining, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Image Processing, Wireless Networks, Artificial Neural Networks, Information Security and Programming Languages, etc., the students get to learn about dealing with hardware as well as software systems, they also gain extensive knowledge of communication systems and other similar devices through extensive and elaborative practical exposure.

The candidate must have passed graduation degree B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree OR passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ etc.,) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level with minimum 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

NOTE:- Students having no Mathematics background will have to do a compulsory bridge course, and an additional bridge course in case the student has not studied Computer as a subject in graduation.
