UG Programme in Robotics & AI

The UG Programme in Robotics & AI at Masters’ Union University is an immersive four-year undergraduate course designed around a unique build line where students graduate having actually built, deployed, and maintained physical robots. Commencing in August 2027 with Round 1 applications closing on December 15, the curriculum caters to Class XII students who have studied Mathematics and Physics. Rather than relying solely on theory, the program features a hands-on structure spanning a 5,000-square-foot Makers’ Lab equipped with AI, electronics, and 3D printing tools. Over the four years, students systematically build and ship functional hardware—progressing from a mobile rover and quadruped in Year 1, to a perceptive robotic arm and drone in Year 2, an autonomous orchestrator and robot swarm in Year 3, and a professional-grade deployment in Year 4 where a student-built robot operates directly inside a partner company's real-world operations across specialized tracks like warehouse automation, humanoids, and aerospace. Instruction is led by a practitioner-driven faculty of over 200 operators, founders, and CTOs from robotics pioneers like Garuda Robotics, Addverb, and GreyOrange. Furthermore, the curriculum is enriched by industry immersions, global exposure opportunities in regions like Japan, Europe, and Singapore, and summer or semester abroad pathways at prestigious institutions like Imperial College London. Admissions are evaluated through a holistic process involving school academics, standardized or internal aptitude test scores (MUSAT, JEE, or SAT), extracurricular achievements, a video essay, and a personal interview, with financial aid and merit-based tuition scholarships of up to 50% available to qualified candidates.

Furthermore, instruction and mentorship are driven by a practitioner-led faculty of over 200 operators, founders, and Chief Technology Officers from top robotics companies—such as Mark Yong from Garuda Robotics, Raghavender Sahdev from NuPort Robotics, Satish Shukla from Addverb, and Hardik Sharma from Ottonomy.io. Combined with global industry immersions and cross-disciplinary technical training in perception, motion planning, and control engineering, graduates step out of the university with a rigorous deployment portfolio and the practical expertise required to secure roles as robotics engineers, automation specialists, autonomous systems architects, and deep-tech founders.
